Hello, thanks for visiting our website.
Our purpose for creating this website is to further the understanding
and knowledge of folks in the use of essential oils. Our previous
experience in sharing our positive experiences is the authoring and
publication of a small (300 page) guide that we call the Essential
Oils Overview and Reference Guide. This small format book was
designed to introduce folks to oils and to be handy enough it could be
carried and available at a moments notice. To do this we had to
edit out a lot of information that could be useful to many. So our
plan has always been to do a more comprehensive work to supplement the
initial book.
This website is the first step in that dream. We hope it will be a valuable resource for those that have the book to extend their use of oils. Our initial dream is to augment the material from the early writers such as Schnaubelt, Tisserand, and Valnet with more contemporary information. This will include our own experiences, the experiences of others, contributions from invited experts in related areas, and research in the public arena relating to essential oils.
You will notice a number of references to doTERRA essential oils and products. We are not employees of doTERRA but we are users of their products. We have used other products as well but have a strong bias towards the purity of these oils so we, without embarrassment, do reference them often. We hope the material is beneficial to all and if you choose not to have our enthusiasm for the doTERRA products we hope that you will still find great value in the material presented.
